• Furnish Your Home With Cheap Gym Equipment

You don't need expensive equipment to get a great workout. You could have a fully functioning "gym" in your home for less than $100. When it comes to working out, you should be doing a bit of cardio and strength training. Cardio exercises helps to strengthen your cardiovascular system and increases your lung capacity and your body will use oxygen more efficiently. Strength training is also important because it helps to keep your muscles and bones strong.

When we think of cardio exercise equipment we tend to think of large machines like ellipticals, treadmills and spin bikes but you don't need these to get a good cardio workout. If you have the extra money to spend, picking up one of those machines is a great idea but they're not a necessity.
Here are some items to consider:

Jump rope. These are very inexpensive and can help you burn around 330 calories in just 30 minutes. If you really intensify things you can burn even more.
Tennis shoes. The great thing about tennis shoes is that you probably already own a pair so you won't have to spend any money. If your budget allows, you'll want to invest in a good, supportive pair of running or cross training shoes.
Mini trampoline. Jumping on a trampoline is a great way to burn calories and you can do so with a mini trampoline. They're fairly inexpensive and even cheaper if you can find one at a garage sale.

    Strength Training Equipment
All you need to perform strength training exercises is resistance. You don't have to buy a complete Olympic weight set and bench to perform great exercises.
Here are some items to consider:

Dumbbells or hand weights. These are very inexpensive and they're available in a wide variety of weights. If you're really strapped for cash consider using soup cans.
Your body. Exercises like push-ups and pull-ups are good bodyweight exercises that provide resistance without added equipment.
Kettlebell. Kettlebell exercises are very effective and you can do dozens of them using just one kettlebell.
